Why me? Why this podcast?

My passion for the inner workings of theaters comes of course from being an actor and singer. It also comes from my former career as a lawyer, where I had some nonprofit clients. After leaving the practice of law, I held management positions at several theaters, including Marketing and Development Coordinator at Target Margin Theater and Managing Director at B-Side Productions, both in NYC.

My education includes a BA from Harvard, a JD from Cornell Law, and a Certificate in Fundraising from NYU.

I have great respect for the hard work and resourcefulness it takes for a nonprofit theater company to thrive and never has it been more challenging—or potentially transformative—than now. With this podcast, I aim to hold space for these inspiring houses of creativity.
